Our client within the Retail Industry is looking for a Balance Sheet Bookkeeper to join their team.

Duties will include:

  • Ensure all the costs are accounted for at the correct exchange rate
  • Update prices before putting stock into pastel
  • Do GRV and then all relevant accounting entries
  • Salaries – all aspects
  • Admin – all aspects
  • Training of clerk
  • Stock aging spreadsheet
  • All tax and statutory returns
  • Warranty claims for customers as well as onward claims to the suppliers
  • Follow through to make sure we get the deduction from the supplier
  • Ensure the stock replacement is taken out of stocks
  • Stock take – all aspects
  • Accounts to balance sheet level


  • CIS Qualification
  • Accounting Degree
